From the time Adam & Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, God had a plan for our redemption. It was prophesied in detail in the Old Testament and was completed in the New Testament. Because of His great love for us, Christ was willing to go to the cross and die an agonizing death to redeem us from our sin. Though we know the end of the story, we set aside Good Friday to focus on the price that was paid for each of us. As we listen to the scripture account of Christ’s crucifixion, we are reminded it wasn’t the nails that held Him on the cross. . .it was His love.
